Artemisia vulgaris or Mugwort is a medicinal plant used in Oriental Medicine by itself or with acupuncture to obtain specific therapeutic results. The herb is warming, tonifying and is heated over meridian points.
Cupping is a therapeutic approach using small glass cups and is used primarily on the back. The idea is to create a vacuum which can then facilitate the flow of qi and blood and release stagnations in the body such as tight, knotted muscles.
